About the Oregon Wine Council

The OWC was founded in late 2019 by a group of dedicated industry professionals who are committed to ensuring the long-term stability of Oregon’s world-renowned wine industry. We are passionate about this beautiful place we call home and the world-class grapes and wine we produce in all regions of our state.

Today, the OWC represents a unified coalition of wine growers, producers and and other industry professionals. OWC seeks to provide industry leadership, a unified voice for Oregon’s wine industry, and resources for every winery in our state, large and small.

What we do.

Empower statewide industry engagement on issues impacting the wine industry

Advocate on behalf of our members and the greater wine industry on legislative and regulatory issues

Engage with Oregon’s greater business community to ensure the wine industry has a seat at the table when decisions impacting businesses are made

Adapt to changing policies, regulations and opportunities to ensure our members have the tools to engage on rapidly changing issues as needed

Provide best practices and information sharing opportunities for our members to improve industry communication and collaboration

Serve as the voice of the industry, representing wine growers and producers operating statewide
