RLAC & PRAC Meeting

OWC wants to ensure that the wine industry is coordinating our advocacy approach on bills and issues that will impact the entire industry. To do that, the Oregon Wine Council (OWC) will host monthly wine industry coordination meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 11am, beginning January 26th, where we will invite regional association groups, lobbyists representing individual wineries, and other industry advocates to come together to coordinate our advocacy approach. These meetings will provide an opportunity for wine industry lobby teams to coordinate on specific bills and strategies, engage in vote counting assignments and other specific lobby items. These monthly advocacy calls will be open to any industry members who want to listen, but their main purpose will be for industry lobbyists to coordinate.

If you would like to participate in OWC’s Regulatory & Legislative Affairs Committee (RLAC) and President’s Regional Advisory Council (PRAC) meeting, please RSVP below.

Register Today!

Oregon Wine Council invites you to join us on Thursday, May 21st at 1pm for a webinar to share learnings on Wine Tasting Room reopening throughout the state. Please see the attached agenda for more information.

Joining us will be three wineries who will briefly kick off our discussion of learnings that came from the reopening:

  • Steve Reustle, Owner, Reustle Prayer Rock Vineyards

  • Chad Day, Owner, RoxyAnn Winery

We will also call on members of the task force who helped shape the Governor’s Restaurant, Brewery and Tasting Room Guidelines and the more specific Wine Tasting Room guidelines.  These OWC members will lead the discussion on what’s worked and what may need more attention.

  • Carrie Kalscheuer, Director of Sales & Education, A to Z Wineworks and Rex Hill

  • Scott Kelley, Owner, Paul O’Brien Winery

  • Jennifer Kerrigan, National Sales Manager, Del Rio Vineyards

We will also be joined by Mike McNally of Fairsing Vineyard who led the task force effort to assist us, as we go into Q/A.  Many thanks to Mike for his leadership during these difficult times.
